Located in the historical Center of the city, The Inn Monsenhor Vicente is a beautiful and imposing mansion, dated from the end of the XVIII Century, that was the dwelling place of several important families from Pitangui, as well as Monsenhor Vicente’s, to whom the name was given in order to pay this homage.

The building – a classical example of building raised in the Brazilian colonial period – that was like ruins not so long ago.

Nowadays, totally restored, it is one of the most prominent places in town, showing itself as one of the most beautiful buildings in the “Seventh Gold Village in Minas Gerais” (Sétima Vila do Ouro das Minas Gerais) – Pitangui.

The Inn is located next to the the Church of Nossa Senhora do Pilar and it is located near the banks and downtown área.

Restore and recovery of the Inn
Pitangui received the Inn totally recovered and restored on February 2013, one of the most beautiful buildings in colonial style in the Midwest of Minas Gerais.

This important piece of the historic heritage, built in our city, is an inspiration to be followed on preserving our memory.
